

Paul was a sergeant in the United States Army. He was with the 4th Armored Infantry Battalion. He entered the military in early 1944 and was sent to England, from there he was sent to Germany. He was part of the late General Patton’s outstanding ground - gaining teams during WWII. He was called back into active duty in 1950 for the Korean war. He was stationed at Fort Worded, Washington.
He proudly wore the combat infantryman badge, the European theater ribbon and two bronze stars, good conduct ribbons, Victory medal and the Presidential unit citation.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife Peggy of 53 years at the time of her passing. His daughter Peggy Jean and his son Phillip Lee and granddaughter Victoria Jean.
Paul is survived by his daughter Pam Woods (Ken) of Apple Valley and daughter Penny Davis of Salem Oregon. He is also survive by eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be Friday March 24 at Sunset Hill Cemetery. There will be a viewing on March 24 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. The service will be from 12:00pm - 1:00pm There will be a grave side service from 1:00 - 2:00pm. There will be a reception at his daughter home after the services.
