Born on June 9, 1958, Paul was a man whose kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, and his presence will be profoundly missed by his loving family and the many others whose lives he impacted.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Christine Saunders, and their four children: Shon, Autmn, Gage, and Jake. He is also mourned by his sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews, all of whom cherished his warmth, humor, and steady support.
Paul will be especially remembered for his extraordinary devotion as a full-time caregiver, tirelessly supporting his two adult children with autism with love and patience. His selflessness extended to his beloved wife as well, whom he lovingly cared for through her medical challenges. Throughout his life, Paul always put the needs of others before his own, offering help, comfort, and support without hesitation. His life was a testament to loyalty, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
A lifelong Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan, Paul took joy in cheering on his teams every season—win or lose. He loved barbecues, playing board games with family, and going out to dinner with friends, always bringing laughter and togetherness wherever he went.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to autism or ALS organizations, or simply urges others to honor Paul’s memory by spending time with loved ones. Life is short — cherish those close to you.
Paul's legacy is one of love, devotion, and quiet strength. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
