an undiagnosed heart condition on December 30, 2016 at his
home in Oak Hills, California. He was born November 2,
1977 in Pampanga, Philippines and lived from infancy to
adulthood in the cities of Pasadena, Monrovia, La Verne and
Claremont, California. He was a talented craftsman adept
in woodworking and welding and a lover of all outdoor
activities. R.J. was an Eagle Scout and was in the US
Army, 82nd Airborne Division.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margo Roa, and two
children that he doted on, Jessica (5 years old) and Hunter
(2 years old), his older sister, Pamela Roa Hipp and her
husband Aaron and daughter Micah, his mother and step
father Maria and Joe Grimland, his step mother Mary Roa,
his mother-in-law, Judy Ramsey, and many Uncles, Aunts and
Cousins. His father, Raul G. Roa, predeceased him.

Service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Chapel, 24000
Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307 on January 19, 2017,
Thursday, at 2 p.m.
