Doddy Trejo, 76, was a resident of the High Desert
since 2002 in Victorville, California who entered
into his eternal rest on January 26, 2021 with his
loving wife Odulia (Dulie) Trejo by his side. Doddy
was born on August 20, 1944 in Los Angeles,
California to parents Lorraine E. Balsz and Raul
Chavez Trejo Sr.
Doddy is preceded in death by his parents, his
precious daughter, Noreen “Beatle” Trejo
and his beloved brother Freddie P. Trejo.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife
Odulia “Dulie” Trejo. They were the best of friends
for 50 years. They met on October 2, 1970 and
married on April 26, 1980, celebrating their 40th
wedding anniversary. They were never parted till
the Day the Lord called him. Doddy is also survived by his eight cherished children which he raised four from Dulie’s first marriage, Steven Michael Valdez, Monique Mary Valdez, Billy Jeffrey Valdez (Shefali Solanki-Valdez) and Sarah Valdez.
Doddy’s four cherished children from Doddy and Dulie’s marriage. Doddy will be lovingly remembered by his children, Dr. Jonathan Salvador Trejo M.D. (Jaime Loo-Trejo), Twin Brother Joshua Daniel Trejo, 1LT. Christian Scott Trejo, (Naailah Rashid-Trejo), his youngest sweet daughter Mina Vanessa Trejo.
He will be missed very much by his 14 grandchildren and great-grandchild. Doddy is reunited in heaven with his Mother Lorraine Balsz and his Dad, Raul Chavez-Trejo, his Grandma Amelia Badome-Balsz, his Grampa Daniel Balsz, his precious daughter Noreen “Beatle” Trejo, his Baby brother Freddie P. Trejo, Father-in-Law, Salvador Rodrigo Mora, Mother-in-law, Odulia “Dulia” Mora, his favorite brother-in-law, Salvador “Lil’ Sal” Mora Jr., and his very funny sister-in-law, Mary Mora.
Doddy was a wonderful, patient, kind soul, he loved teasing and cracking jokes, he was the best father and devoted husband, a very hard worker and provider for his family till the day he joined our Lord. “Only a moment you stayed, but what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts.”
A Rosary service is scheduled for 10:00 am on February 21, 2021 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park located in Apple Valley.
