Virginia "Ginny" Trujillo

Virginia (Ginny) Trujillo, age 74, of Victorville, CA. was called home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2019. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born on November 20, 1944 in Puerto Rico where she was raised with her brothers and sister. She loved Puerto Rico and shared that gift with everyone she met, if you were lucky enough, she would cook her amazing traditional Puerto Rican food for you. She enjoyed traveling, bingo, watching movies and playing games with her grandchildren, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a truly beautiful woman who was loved very much and will be tremendously missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Basilio Trujillo, her parents Angel (Benito) & Lydia (Gonzalez) Fernandez, and her brother Angel (Denida) Fernandez. She is survived by her children, Jeanette Hardisty, Darlene (Derek) Davis, and Axel (Michelle) Trujillo, her brothers Samuel Fernandez, Felo (Norma) Fernandez and sister Norma Fernandez. She had 10 grandchildren, Sean (Amber) Hardisty, Keith Hardisty, James Hardisty, Joel Davis, Kayla Davis, Harrison (Ashley) Hardisty, Erik Colon, Dennis Pearson Jr., Loren Trujillo, Gabriel Trujillo, and many great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Hills Chapel, 24000 Waalew Rd. in Apple Valley. A lunch reception will follow for family and friends immediately after the service.
