

Dr. Achamma (Rosa) Roundhill, 70 years old, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Arlington Memorial Hospital after a three year battle with Cancer. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through the grueling fight against Cancer.
Born on February 6, 1944, in Kerala, India, Achamma was the oldest of four children, her siblings - Jose, Thomas, Mathew, and Jaisamma, live in different areas of Achamma's home state of Kerala.
After finishing her college education at Providence College in Kerala, Achamma completed her Medical Doctor (MD) and Obstetricians/Gynecology (OBGYN) from University of Padua Medical School, Padua, Italy. During her studies in Italy, Achamma met the love of her life, Dr. Anthon Roundhill, who was a fellow classmate at the university. She was married to Anthon for forty three years and raised two sons, Prasad and Rajesh, in Italy, India, and United States.
Possessing a true servant's heart and being a devout Catholic, Achamma, faithfully cared for her family, friends, and patients. Achamma loved to pray, gardening, and spend time with her family - especially with her Grandchildren - Izabel, Eva, Emma, and Emily
