Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Moore Funeral Home South Chapel, 1219 N. Davis Drive, in Arlington. Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, at Moore Funeral Home.
Arvin is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gene Carlisle.
Arvin is survived by two sons, William Carlisle, Sr. and Arvin Carlisle, Jr.; two daughters, Becky Carlisle and Sandra Felner; three brothers, Joe Carlisle, J.D. Carlisle, and Duane Carlisle; one sister, Elaine Nall; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
