Bro. Colvin led me to Christ and baptized me when I was 17 years old.  A few months later God called me to preach. I thank God for all that I learned under his ministry. I loved he, Joybelle and his family very much. May God's grace be with this precious family

I sat under Brother Colvin's teaching for about 15 years at Azle Baptist 
Church.  I have never before or since met such a great Bible teacher.  Thank you Preacher for giving to the Lord - I am a life that was changed.  What a blessing you were to so many.

Bro. Colvin changed my life.  Under his guidance, teaching and prayers I accepted Christ as my personal Savior.  Bro. Colvin was the person who baptized me.  Still today I remember lessons learned and specifc areas of 
Bible Studies done.  Bro. Colvin taught me how to drive the big green monster bus.  I'll never forget him.  My heart grieves for the family.

My family first met Bro. Colvin and his family when we moved to Irving in 1966 and began attending Sherwood Park Baptist Church. He was such a blessing to our family and my most fond memories are of times spent at that church and camp in Oklahoma. He touched so many lives and is now rejoicing with them in Heaven! Our deepest sympathy to the Colvin family and prayers for continued healing.

There is no doubt in my mind where our Brother Colvin is now....what an amazing man he was.  He was always there when we needed him.  He was loved and will be missed by many!

I met Brother Colvin when he came to our church, Lakeside Church of God. He was a very special person. He was special to our church, family and friends. It was a blessing to know him and have him as one of our pastor assistants. We will miss him but he is in Heaven with the Lord, I am sure he will have lots of stars in his crown from the lives he has touched. 
I am sorry I could not attend his service, I was in Oklahoma.
