Bear Evinger

Memorial service: 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at Community of Hope United Methodist Church, 1800 E. Debbie Lane, Mansfield. Interment: Will be at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for his three sons at Texas Trust Credit Union (Bear Evinger's Cubs).

Bear was born March 7, 1969, in Camp Pendleton, Calif. He served in the United States Marine Corps as an intelligence analyst and Korean linguist. He was a professional motivational speaker focused on ending drunken driving. He was an active member of the Mansfield Area Marines. He was a loving husband to Melissa and loving father to his sons, Jake, Zack and Cage.

We will miss his tremendous love for his wife and sons, his sly sense of humor and passion for the Texas Rangers baseball team.
