It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Beverly Becker. “MeMe,” as she was lovingly called by her grandchildren, passed away on Friday, May 15. She was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven by her parents, Mary and Silas, and reunited with her cherished granddaughter, Mariah.
Beverly is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Terry; her daughter, Cylinda; her son, Karl; her daughter-in-law, Sarah; her grandson, Jakob, and his fiancée, Olya; her great-granddaughter, Emma; and her brother, Jimmy, and his wife, Shirley.
Beverly enjoyed a long and happy life in Texas. Born in Fort Worth, she loved playing tennis and basketball and was also an avid bowler. She raised her family in Amarillo and Grand Prairie, where she spent her days crafting, gardening, working, playing dominoes, and spending time with her sorority sisters in Beta Sigma Phi.
Above all, Beverly loved her family deeply and always kept others in her thoughts. She often reached out with a simple, caring question: “What are you doing?” She never passed up a game of dominoes and treasured the laughter and memories shared with family during the holidays.
Momma, you were taken from us too soon. We love you endlessly, and you will be forever missed.
