Beverly was born in Rochester, N.H., March 1, 1943, the daughter of Donald J. and Dorothy Winsor Vaughn. Beverly is a 10th generation descendent of Mayflower passenger Peregrine White.
She graduated from Farmington High School and Lynn Hospital School of Nursing. Beverly held concurrent Registered Nursing licenses in the States of New Hampshire and Texas. During her lifelong career in nursing, she served the community as an Operating Room Nurse, an OB/GYN Nurse and as a Private Duty Nurse. Improving patient's health was Beverly's lifelong commitment.
Survivors: Husband William Thomits, daughter Shelley Allman, son-in-law Kendal Allman, granddaughter Brittany Allman, grandson Kirby Allman, brother-in-law Arthur Thomits and sister-in-law Linda Thomits.
Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home in the South chapel- 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012, on May 27, 2026 from 4pm to 8pm.
Graveside Service: Will be held, at a later date, in New Hampshire In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Humane Society.
