Bobby was born Feb. 10, 1949, to Jack Elvin Banks and Dorothy Nell Harris. He received his criminal justice degree from Southwest Texas State University. Thereafter he began his life's devotion to law enforcement by serving as a federal agent, and as an inspector with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the nation's oldest federal law enforcement agency. After 31 years of service, he retired in 2005. Bobby married his childhood friend, Mary E. Schneider, and they celebrated life and each other for 33 years. He enjoyed traveling, music and photography, and had a great passion for the latest in technology.
Survivors: Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents; his wife; his daughter, Kristy King; son-in-law, Alfred King; grandchild, Seth King; companion, Little Betty; and numerous other family members and friends.
