

Carter was a proud graduate of Sam Houston High School, Class of 2001, and later attended Tarrant County Junior College, where he studied automotive mechanics. He dedicated his career to working with his hands and helping others, serving as an auto mechanic and technician for Firestone and Meineke Car Care, among others. Earlier in life, he worked for Saia and FedEx as a warehouse manager.
Carter had a lifelong passion for cars and cooking. He had a special gift for brightening people’s days - especially with food. He was the kind of person who would stop to help a stranger on the roadside, often turning an ordinary encounter into a lasting friendship.
Carter is preceded in death by his Father Pete Clark, his grandparents - Pete and Dot Clark, and Frank and Gladys Jonaitis, Great Uncle - Troy Bartlett, Aunt Maryanne Perkins, Cousins -Jeremy Clark and Paige Witham.
He is survived by his Mother Susan Clark; his cherished daughters - Claire and Rose Clark, his sister and brother-in-law - Monica and Bill Boothe, and his nephews - Austin, Dyllon, and Dakota Boothe. As well as a large extended family including many aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins.
His family and friends will long remember his incredible grilled steaks and smoked brisket, shared during good times and laughter. His love for family, friendship, and good food will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved him.
