

Charlie Floyd Lowery was born April 24, 1932 in Greasy Bend, Oklahoma the son of Bill and Clellie Lowery. He was a faithful church member all his life before his illness and served as a Sunday school teacher, church bus driver and deacon. He enjoyed water sports and working in the yard. After retiring from his job of 33 years at General motors in Arlington he moved to East Texas on a lake property to pursue his love of the water. He was able to water ski until age 70. He loved his family and spending time with them. He was a sweet and kind man with a good sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will be greatly missed by all he knew and loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, an infant brother, great-granddaughter Raegan Elizabeth Lowery, and a nephew Alan Lowery.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Joy Shelton Lowery of Murchison, Tx.,daughter Twanna Lowery of Murchison, Tx., son Terry Lowery of Keller Tx., daughter Lynett Lowery of Grand Prairie, Tx., son John Lowery and wife Kenda of Hawthorne, Ca., 2 grandsons Jeffry Lowery and wife Hollie of keller, Tx., and Jared Lowery of Keller, Tx., 2 grand daughters Jennifer Neal and husband Brandon Neal of Havelock, Nc., and Emily Lowery of Grand Paririe, Tx., and 2 great-grandchildren Audrey Lowery and Jeffry Lowery, Jr of Keller, Tx., 5 bothers Lloyd Lowery and wife Mollie of Mansfield, Tx., Lemuel Lowery and wife Norma of Collinsville, Tx., Jody Lowery of Springtown, Tx., Willie Lowery and wife MaryLou of Mannsville, Ok and Donnie Lowery of Ardmore, Ok., 2 sisters Jean Lone of Madill,Ok., and Shirley Johnson of Mannsville, Ok., and numerous nieces and nephews
