Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington.
Clyde was born in the Texas Panhandle on Dec. 26, 1915, to Alvin and Myrtle Crow. He graduated from Friona High School in 1932. He was married to Frances Elnora Lacy on Jan. 4, 1943. Clyde worked for the Santa Fe Railroad in the 1940s and then 30 years at General Dynamics. He was a member of River Oaks United Methodist Church and had a passion for home and family.
Survivors: Clyde is survived by daughter, Phyllis and son-in-law, George Mayes; niece, Cynthia and her husband, Don Mayfield; grandson, John J. and wife, Becky Mayes; granddaughter, Mary and husband, Shannon Edwards; great-grandchildren, Sydney Mayes, Baxter Mayes and Casey Mayes; and numerous nephews and nieces.
