

David was born on November 3, 1935 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Lincoln High School then enlisted in the Army as a Paratrooper for the 11th Airborne Division. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Youngstown State University then went on to have a remarkable career in law enforcement. David joined The United States Secret Service in 1966. During his 20 year career he worked under six different Presidents and on five different Presidential details at the White House. He was the Agent In Charge of President Nixon as well as protecting The Carter family, Ladybird Johnson and Queen Elizabeth during her visit to the United States.
After retirement, David was appointed by President Reagan as the US Marshall for the Northern District of Texas.
David is survived by his wife, Lienore Baldelli; his daughters: Debra Carson, her husband Robert. Amy Woodruff, her husband David. Lindsay Nichols, and her husband Chris. His grandchildren: Nathan Rorls, Sabrina Rorls, Robert Carson, Cheyenne Dion, Kendal Sasser, Reagan Sasser, Kaelyn Nichols, and Barrett Nichols; and his siblings: Orlanda Mary Minnet, William Baldelli, and Lena Shannon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Baldelli (1970-2010).
Military honors for David will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:15 AM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 and will be open to the public.
A Reception & Celebration of Life will follow at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012.
