

Deborah "Debbie" Kay Jarrett Cooper 63, passed away early Thursday morning, Oct. 9, 2014. Debbie was born June 3, 1951, in Fort Worth. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth and later attended Texas Wesleyan University. A longtime Tarrant County resident, Debbie spent her career in the insurance industry and loved helping people. Her success and dedication in sales and willingness to help others meant her influence reached countless many. Debbie was also very active in her community and volunteered regularly with the Arlington Life Shelter. Anyone who knew her will remember her as a woman of humor, warmth and love. Debbie was very active in the Church of Christ and attended Richland Hills Church of Christ and most recently North Davis Church of Christ. Earlier in her life she was a longtime teacher in church-sponsored youth education programs. Her love for the church was prevalent in all aspects in her life.
Survivors:Son, Paul D. Cooper; Daughter, Courtney E. Cooper; Sister, Terry Patterson; Husband, Dwight Cooper; two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at North Davis Church of Christ, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home.
