Donna Maureen Sparks

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a local food bank.

Donna was born Sept. 13, 1954, at Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital. She graduated from Richland Hills High School in 1972 and later from the University of Texas at Arlington Business School of Accounting with high marks. She began her career in the insurance industry and then moved into the food and beverage industry for several years.

Pool was her primary love. She was well known and a highly ranked pool player. She started the Lone Star Pool League and was the current president of the Lone Star Billiards Association. Donna was also a lover of dark chocolate. She was currently employed by Corelogic. She was a 25-year cancer survivor.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Frances Sparks.

Survivors: Brother, Michael Sparks; one nephew; four great-nieces; and a multitude of close friends.
