Dorothy Anne Drew

Dorothy Anne Drew of Watauga, TX passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019. She was born in Framingham, MA on July 13, 1933. Dorothy graduated from Northborough High School. She was married to Robert Fraser Drew Sr., the love of her life, for 54 years. She has now joined him in Heaven. Dorothy worked at the Stepping Stones Preschool and volunteered for many years at the Shepard Shop at the United Methodist Church of Watauga. She had a passion for collecting bells, Blue Moon and Star glassware, and Lenox Pig figurines. She enjoyed antiquing and finding special items for her loved ones at “the shop”. She showed total devotion to her grandchildren and made sure the holidays were wonderful and memorable times for everyone. She had two wonderful dogs, Toto and Jolie, who kept her company and blessed her with lots of laughter for many years.

Dorothy is proceeded in death by her husband Robert Fraser Drew Sr., her son Brian Reginald Drew, her parents Myrtle and Reginald Burrows, and her sisters Bevy, Margie, Eunice, and Marion.

Dorothy is survived by her children James Lauchlin Drew, Nancy Jean Drew, and Robert Fraser Drew Jr, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and her brother Stanley Knight Burrows.

The family would like to especially thank her caregivers Epic Haven and Joy Puente.

The funeral will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, January 2, 2020 with visitation with the family beginning at 11.
