Visitation: Family and friends may pay respects 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home. On Sunday, a viewing and the interment will take place at Mission Park South in San Antonio.
She was born in San Antonio on Nov. 21, 1951, to Judge Albert U. Trevino and Mary Lou Trevino. Ernestina was a professor at DeVry University and in 1975 was named to Who's Who in Texas. An Isis Star dancer and a fraternity member of Delta Omnicron and Mu Phi Epsilon, Ernestina also sang with opera singer Beverly Sills.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Albert R. Trevino; and sister, Christine Trevino Jordan.
Survivors: Her husband, John Paul Quinones of Arlington; her son, Wesley Richard of Little Rock, Ark.; her daughter, Nicolle Smith (Glen Casy) of Fort Campbell, Ky.; stepchildren, Tene' Leach of Many, La., Christine Easterwood of Arlington and Paul Quinones of Fort Worth; brother, Daniel Trevino (Brenda Meaux) of Lafayette, La.; and sisters, Diana Canavan of San Antonio, Minerva Trevino (Wayne Weslander) of Lubbock and Elizabeth Barefoot of Fayetteville, N.C.
