Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at First Presbyterian Church, 1000 Penn St., Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home.

Frank was born June 7, 1921, in Dallas to Clarence E. and Irma McDowell Gladden.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth for over 60 years. He served in the Navy during World War II and attended North Texas State University, now the University of North Texas.
Frank retired from UTA as a professor of microbiology for 28 years, where he helped many students move on to careers in the medical field.
Survivors: His wife of 61 years, Juanita; son, Steve Gladden and his wife, Terre; daughter, Jan Gladden Dye; and grandchildren, Alyssa and Sean Dye.
