Galen is predeceased by his parents, Dr. Galen E Steeg Sr. MD and Rose Marie Steeg.
Galen is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Steeg of 27 years. The two were married in Farmers Branch at the church of Webb Chapel UMC on June 5th, 1993.
Galen is lovingly remembered by his Lil’ Angel Holly Marie, who he loved very much and was so proud of.
Even though Galen was greatly ill, he loved all and touched so many lives. Galen is always with us in spirit despite not being present at all times.
Galen had many passions including, hockey, college football, and baseball. His favorite teams being his beloved TCU Horned Frogs and Dallas Stars.
Galen was born in Fort Worth on December 15, 1959, where he graduated from Lamar High School in 1978 and attended Texas Christian University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts.
Galen is remembered by: Rose Marry Steeg Sister, Holly Elliott Sister in Law, Matt Elliott Brother in Law, Jeanie Elliott Sister in Law, Wesley Elliott Nephew, and Carrington Winkleman Niece.
