He was born in Dallas, TX in 1957 to Billy and Joyce McCoy. Gary was a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. A 35 Year tenured senior case worker at MHMR of Tarrant County.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Billy W. McCoy. He is survived by his mother Joyce McCoy, sister Karen Allen, brother-in-law Darrell Allen, niece Katharine Akerly (Grayson), and great-nieces Zovia Busby, Kenzie Kate Akerly, and Hollynn Akerly.
Graveside service will be held at Moore Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Arlington, Texas on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Noon.
