Funeral: 3:30p on Monday, January 24 at Moore Funeral Home. Visitation is Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00p at the funeral home.
Geneva was born January 2, 1931 in Mexia, TX to Elisha and Lela Etheridge Hines. As a young woman during WWII, she worked as a hospital candy striper helping those in need. She was a dedicated wife and stay at home mother, which she cherished more than anything. Her hobbies were fishing and tending to her flower garden. Roses being her favorite flower.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Alton and Charlie Hines.
She is survived by her loving husband, Merl; Brother, William Hines and wife, Ann; sons, Gary Russell and wife, Kathleen, Steven Russell and wife, Paula, and David Russell and wife, Johnnie; daughters, Brenda Bunn and husband, Wyndell and Gail Russell and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
