Services for Geneva Delores Robinson, 82, of Royse City, Texas will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 24, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a time of viewing and visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Ms. Robinson passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Dallas.
Geneva was born August 18, 1932 in Wichita County, Texas to L.E. Robinson and Matildia Mae Simmons. She spent her childhood years in Cleburne. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. Geneva utilized her sewing talents and experience as an employee for many years at Hancock Fabrics in Garland. She loved John Wayne and Western movies as well as her dogs and cats.
Ms. Robinson was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters, and one great-grandson.
Survivors include three sons, Cecil Lackey and wife Judy of Royse City, Robert Haney or Royse City and Bruce Haney of Lancaster, one daughter, Lana Elliott and husband Terry of Royse City, 24 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
