Celebration of his life: Wednesday 2:00pm at Moore Funeral Home followed by interment at Moore Memorial Gardens.
Gerald, a true “Music Man” and friend to all, was born in Dallas, Texas to Claude and Etta Lam. He served in the Navy in WWII and graduated from Baylor University in 1950 (Music Education Major). After teaching music for two years in Harlington and Arlington, Gerald was employed by several Dallas companies – retiring in 1989 from Palmer Paper Company. He was a member of St. John the Apostle United Methodist Church.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Darsa Armour Owens.
Survivors: sister, Dana Armour; brothers, Elvis Lam (Louise) and Gene Lam (Maudie); nieces, Anita Lam, Janet Armour White, Kimberly Lam Tooley; nephews, Larry Armour, Jason Lam; very special friend, Michele Whitecotton; many other friends and relatives.
