Griselda Martinez

      Our dear mother Griselda Martinez sadly passed away on March 12, 2024 at the age of 62. She was a wonderful wife and mother who was always there when we needed her. Griselda also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Arlington, Texas.

      Griselda was born April 28,1962 in Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico to Emeterio S. Martinez and Vicenta Gonzales Martinez. She was raised in Matamoros T. Mexico, she moved to the United States of America in the late 1980s. Where she met and married Faustino Martinez in the early 1990s and have been married for 33 years, they had four children. Griselda was a custodian at Arlington independent school district, where she worked for 28 years.

      She loved taking care of her family and a good laugh over a meal with friends. Griselda loved cooking for her family and others with a side of life lessons. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family. Griselda's family and friends will always remember her as a hard working, loving, loyal, and generous person.

      She was preceded in death by mother Vicenta G. Martinez and brother Manuel Martinez. She is survived by her father Emeterio S. Martinez, husband Faustino Martinez, children Jesus Treviño, Elizabeth Martinez, Pedro M. Martinez ( wife Brenda C. Martinez) Samuel Martinez.

Grandchildren Jovany Treviño, Griselda Treviño Ny ( husband Tyvin J. Ny) Alexis Capitanachi, Ethan Pedro Martinez, Emma Florence Martinez, Roman Ezequiel Martinez. Brothers Emeterio Jr. Martinez and Fermin Martinez, Sisters Maria M. Martinez, and Silvia Romero Martinez.

Nuestra querida madre Griselda Martinez fallecío tristemente el 12 de Marzo 2024 a la edad de 62 años. Era una esposa y madre maravillosa que siempre estaba ahí cuando la necesitábamos. También tenia muchos amigos y era un miembro muy querido de la comunidad en Arlington, Texas.

      Griselda nacío el 28-4-1962 en Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico a Emeterio S. Martinez y a Vicenta G. Martinez. Ella se crío en Matamoros T. Mexico, despues se traslado a los Estados Unidos a finales de 1980. Donde conoció y se casó con Faustino Martinez a principios de 1990 y han estados casados durante 33 años, tuvieron cuatro hijos. Griselda trabajo como custodian en el distrito escolar independiente de Arlington donde trabajo durante 28 años.

      Le encantaba cuidar de su familia y reírse con los amigos. A Griselda le encantaba cocinar para su familia y a sus amigos con un toque de lecciones de vida. Siempre sacrificaba sus necesidades por el bien de su familia. La familia y amigos de Griselda siepre la recordarán como una person trabajadora, cariñosa, leal y generosa.

Fue precedida en la muerte por su madre Vicenta G. Martinez y su hermano Manuel Martinez. Le sobreviven su padre Emeterio S. Martinez, esposo Faustino Martinez, hijos Jesus Treviño Martinez, Elizabeth Martinez, Pedro M. Martinez ( Brenda C. Martinez) Samuel Martinez.

A visitation for Griselda will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
