Horace was born on July 25, 1932 in Mabank, TX. He was married for 63 years to the love of his life, Sylveen Jo Ann (Krueger) Ward. Together they loved to travel, but Horace loved spending time with his family more than anything. You could recognize Horace a mile away by his suspenders, of which he had hundreds of them! Horace was a life time member and held the Pilgrim Degree of Merit at the Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Red; sister, DeVurle; brother, Jack and his great grandchildren, Jacob and Jerrod.
Horace left behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Sylveen; sons, Vernon Ward and Chuck Ward; Whitney Riordan and 8 more grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, other family and many friends all who will miss him dearly.
