J.D. Rowe, 89, of Mansfield, Texas passed away on September 30, 2016. He was born in Pike, Texas on March 2, 1927. He served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. After the Army, he took a job with Lane Container as an estimator where he worked until he retired.
J.D. was very outgoing and full of life. He enjoyed playing cards and dominos and won many trophies bowling. His biggest passion of all was dancing, which he did with his daughter days before he passed. J.D. was preceded in death by his father and mother A.T. and Ottis Rowe, one brother Charlie Rowe, and two sisters Geneva Jones and Helen Terrell. He was survived by his daughter Jana Wier, her husband Don Wier, and two grandchildren Jake and Jenni Wier of Mansfield, Texas, and one sister Lois Stroud of Irving, Texas.
