Jessie Faye Kitchens

Jessie Faye Kitchens, age 96, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. Jessie was born in Morgan Mill, TX to Joe E. Baker and Ruth Faye Baker. She graduated from North Side High School in 1947. Jessie married Roy Gean Kitchens in 1948 and they had two children together. She was a homemaker after Randy was born in 1951.

In Jessie's free time she enjoyed knitting, leather carving, beading and sewing and sold a lot of her pieces at Will Roger's in Fort Worth during the sales. Jessie had a creative mind and was meticulous with her crafts. Her and her husband Roy were avid motorcycle enthusiasts and took many trips on Roy's motorcycle with his friends traveling all over the United States.

Jessie loved her family more than anything and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was born a Christian and had a deep belief in God and Jesus Christ as her Savior.

Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, Roy G, Kitchens; sister, Norma Cheever and her Mother and Father, Joe and Ruth Baker.

Jessie is survived by her son, Randy Gene Kitchens and his wife, Sharon of Arlington, TX and their children, Sharlena Kitchens, Elizabeth Kitchens, Barbara Kitchens and great-grandchild, Claire Medina, She is also survived by her daughter, Cindy Kay (Kitchens) Patrick and her husband, Joseph of Fort Wayne, Indiana and their children, Austin Shumway, Joseph Patrick III and his wife Alaina and great-grandchildren, Norah Patrick and William Patrick; along with 7 nieces and 2 nephews.

A visitation for Jessie will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM with the funeral to begin at 12 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012. Burial will follow the service at Moore Memorial Gardens.
