John C. Crozier

ARLINGTON -- Our Savior and Lord lifted John Crozier in his loving arms to rest in eternal peace and joy Thursday, October 14, 2010.Memorial Service: 9:30 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 1219 N Davis, Arlington, Texas.John was born July 24, 1922 in Southland, Texas. He was married to Eleanora “Marie” Snokhous Crozier of West, Texas for 57 years until her death on May 1, 2006. They resided in Arlington for 49 years where he remained until his death. Mr. & Mrs. Crozier were members of First Baptist Church of Arlington.

He was a World War II veteran and finished his service as a Lt. Colonel. He was employed by FHA and retired after 20 years in 1980.He was preceded in death by his mother and father William and Juddie Crozier and brothers, William and Robert Crozier.Survivors: His daughters, Margaret Faughtenberry and husband, Jerry, Carol Lamotte Matthews and husband, Leonard. He was “Great Papa” to 4 grandchildren, Meredith, Jonathan, Preston, and Kasey; and 7 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Nicolette, Christian, Mariah, Cameron, Peyton, Presley, Andrew, and 1 great-great-grandchild, Jaylen. Our special thanks to Charlotte Emerson for 6 years of loving care to the Croziers.
