I didn't know Joe while we worked at Vought, but went to work for him in the "Paint Shop" at VAHF.  I learned how to spray paint from him. I had never even tried it before. He was always patient and even tempered with me no matter how bad a job I did.  Most of all I loved hearing his stories about the War and his life as a test pilot.  I would sit and listen as long as he wanted to talk. I miss him.  God Bless. Bruce White
