Joe was a very nice person and as a crew chief he was always fare to me, the little bit I chatted with him it was always a nice time. He was a righteous person. God Speed .  L Kommer.

You have my deepest condolences for my buddy Joe Sanzo III and his family. I’ve known Joe for a long time probably over 30 years or more.

He was my first crew chief when I first came to Dallas, Texas or DFW airport. In the early 90,s 

We worked on the overnight B Check in the hangers on both DC-10 and MD-11  Aircrafts on the midnight shift.

Later on I also became a Crew Chief and Joe and I both worked the DFW Line Maintenance at the terminal  usually A section and C section most of the time.

Joe was also a member of The American Legion‘s Bedford, Texas Post  379. 

We used to attend the monthly meetings together and after the meeting, sit and talk about lots of things  with other veterans Joe was a Vietnam Navy Veteran, who served in Vietnam with the sea wolfs a Navy helicopter squadron  his job was to repair and keep those helicopters flying protecting the Navy, gun boats, and other Army infantry personnel and other friendly forces-in the area from the VC better known as the  North Vietnamese Army. 

Joseph Sanzo III and I were also both were members of the Knight of Columbus Bedford, Texas.
 Joe actually signed me up! with a few other friends .

Joe, always wanted to write a book on his career with American Airlines but never got around to doing it.

What can I tell you about Joe many things but Joe was Joe and everybody who knew him always heard him say.

 It is my way or the highway.
I might be right wrong or indifferent but even when I’m wrong I’m right!

Joe was stubborn, but funny.
Joe was a very devoted Husband  Father and Grandfather he was very responsible and  God fearing and punctual person! 

Joe was indeed an American patriot a Vietnam Veteran who was never afraid to speak his mind and defend the underdog! 

I will miss our conversations and I will miss him calling me from time to time.

I just wish I would had visited him one more time before he passed away.

May his soul rest in everlasting peace and comfort of almighty Lord

We are so sorry for the loss of a great man and a good friend We have known Joe  for over 50 years Alan met him in the Navy  He was the best man at our wedding  and Alan was the best man at Joe's wedding We remember  Joe asking if we known a nice Italian girl and we did We invite d them over for dinner and the rest  is history Rest In Peace Joe you will be greatly  missed May his memory  be a blessing Our condolence to all  Harriet  and Alan Klask

Your visits to New Jersey and we would get together for lunch or dinner, our Reunion down the Shore, your visits to my house...our chats....I have beautiful memories of you....your interesting stories and your talks of your  beautiful Family.  Thank you Joe for always making me feel special.

Praying for the family and would like to share a memory. We all where in the Break Room and management was telling Joe how to handle a aircraft problem and Joe just goes off telling our supervisor at the top of his lungs “ We are going to do it my way!!!  “ and the whole room full of mechanics was just like Joe is in charge of this whole situation!!

My prayers are with all of the family. May God grant you peace during this difficult time.
