Kathleen was born September 7, 1949 in Galveston, Texas. She attended Texas Christian University and went on to have a career in human resources. Kathleen was a member of United Methodist Church of the Covenant in Arlington. She was also involved with an annual Christian retreat called Discovered God's Call. Kathleen loved her dachshunds, horses, and, most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Kathleen is survived her children, Stephanie Alexander (Corey) and J.J. Checki III (Christa); her grandchildren: Kory and Cameron Alexander; and Sarah, Elizabeth, and Zachariah Checki; and her brother, John Mandell (Cathy). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katy Checki.
A funeral service for Kathleen will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11:00am in the South Chapel at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012. Burial to follow in Moore Memorial Gardens.
