Kathleen Patricia Edwards

Kathleen Patricia Edwards, age 70, passed away on September 4, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on May 23, 1955, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Dewey Edwards and Alma Jean Glockner. Kathy was raised in Jackson, where she built a life full of love, family, and adventure.

In 1971, Kathy married Jimmy Davis, and together they had one daughter. A true entrepreneur at heart, Kathy pursued her passions with determination and creativity throughout her life.

Kathy had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the piano in her spare time. She especially cherished time with her grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Known for her sweet, fun, and giving spirit, Kathy was truly the life of the party—bringing laughter, warmth, and energy wherever she went. Among her many accomplishments, she proudly earned a black belt in taekwondo, a testament to her strength and dedication.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alma Jean Glockner and Dewey Edwards; her brothers Keith Edwards and David Edwards; and her former husband, Jimmy Davis.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Rachel Edwards her two grandsons Joseph Edwards and Jimmie Edwards, her two great grandchildren, Alieyah Edwards and Joseph Adrian Edwards & Ilsent Castro her spiritual granddaughter.

Kathy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
