Laksena Mountbatton Samaratunga was born June 22, 1948 in Colombo-Srilanka to Stepen Elgemon Samaratunga and Marguerite Rebecca Alagarani Emmanuel. He passed from this life June 17, 2014 at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife Maryann Young and family and friends.
