Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Larry was born in Moran on July 17, 1919. He served in the U.S. Army from October 1940 to November 1945 and continued serving in the Army Reserve until 1959 as a first lieutenant. He graduated from North Texas Agricultural College and married Ozella McNeely in 1948. His entire career was with Texas Electric Service Co. He was an avid hunter and a member of and past president of the Arlington Sportsman Club. He was a beekeeper and a competitive target shooter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother; sister; and daughter, Betty.
Survivors: Sister, Pauline Moore of Proctor; daughter, Marian Holland Slocum of Bedford; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
