Following high school, she married W. N. Burks, and was his loving wife for forty-two years. Together they raised three daughters. Leona always loved games, gardening, and most importantly time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Turner, Valerie Campo (Michael) and Jolene Maker (Monte); siblings Lewis Casey (her twin), Verda Rice, Veda Misita, Billy Casey, and Gary Casey; grandchildren Scott Turner, Casey Elliott Campbell, Bradford Elliott, Micah Elliott, Westin Campo, and Nicky Campo; and seven great-grandchildren with one due any day; and many other family members and friends who loved her.
