

Marguerite graduated from The High School of Commerce and attended the Ottawa Civic Hospital School of Nursing. She graduated as an RN.
In May 1957, Marguerite married her pen pal boyfriend Clyde Treco. Clyde and Marguerite’s honeymoon was driving their 1957 Ford from Ottawa Canada to their new home in Miami Florida. They were married for 53 years, and lived in Florida, Canada, and the Bahamas. Clyde passed away in August 2010.
Marguerite passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with kidney disease. She is survived by her children, their families and many friends; including;
Allen (wife Jackie, grandchildren Christopher and Katherine);
Linda (husband David Urvina, grandchildren Ryan and Marina);
Mark (wife Sandra, grandchildren Mark, Brian, and Harrison);
Jason (daughter-in-law Lynn Boyd, grandchildren Nicholas and Joelle);
Buddy (Clyde)
Shela (husband Don House, grandchildren Robert and Alessandra);
Louisa Calcaterra; her cousin and lifelong friend;
Also:
Extended family in Nassau: Wendell and Lorraine Smith; and Beverly Bethel; their families, as well as Sisters-in-Law Dolores Wells and Winifred Mullins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Extended family in Canada: Friends and nursing colleagues Diana Thompson, Anne Archibald, and Ruth Gillespie; as well as her surviving classmates in Civic Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1954 and 1955.

Our family would like to especially thank the many doctors, nurses, health care providers, and EMT’s who cared for Marguerite during her time in hospital, dialysis center, and nursing home. Your compassion and dedication is appreciated.
Marguerite will be laid to rest next to Clyde at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church cemetery in Hamilton’s, Long Island Bahamas.
