Martha Lou Crumley was born November 12, 1930, and went to be with her Lord May 24, 2016. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, El-Texa Grotto and of Handley Baptist Church. Martha has been described by her family as the “Ultimate Homemaker”; there was nothing she couldn’t do. She sewed, made quilts and porcelain dolls, cooked and catered to her family. This amazing mother also loved the outdoors; she was known to get the catch of the day. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren have fond memories spending time with their grandmother, from participating with Martha in the world’s largest treasure hunt, Geocache, to sleep overs, visits to the zoo; the moments with her were irreplaceable. Other than being a fancy stepper she was also a passionate Texas Ranger fan. She loved to travel, to go places and see things. Undeniably she will missed by many. Martha was preceded in death by: her husband, who she married December 6, 1948, Adolph Crumley; mother, Addie Kate Taylor; and brother, Joe Taylor. Those left to cherish her memory include: her children, Regina Hamilton and husband Harry of Tolar, David Crumley and wife Sue of Fort Worth, Pamela Barbee of Burleson, Paula Miller and husband Mickey of Joshua; sister, Elva Lee Choate; grandchildren, Harry H Hamilton IV, Sarah Hassell, Scott Crumley, Abbey Slade, Carrie Hamilton, Amanda Miller and Megan Barbee; great grandchildren, Chloe, Austin, Tyler, Sadie, Addison, Alexis, Aiden, Alana, Robert, Lucas; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
