

Louise was born on February 25, 1929 in Claremore, Oklahoma, where she attended and graduated from Sequoyah High School. She was fourth of nine children and a registered Cherokee Indian.
Louise married Ed Jantzen, on December 24, 1948, at First Christian Church, Claremore. He passed away in July 1986, after 39 years of marriage.
She was a flight attendant for American Airlines for several years and many positions as a bookkeeper, bank auditor and other banking positions. She helped her husband with their business, Connec/Tek, Inc, later becoming Sterling Electronic in Dallas, Texas.
She was previously active in Citizen on Patrol, board member of Randol Mill Garden Homes and The Red Hatters “Golden Girls of Arlington”, Chapter #16806. She enjoyed this group of ladies and they had a marvelous time.
Louise enjoyed her courtyard and worked constantly to make it beautiful, she always received wonderful compliments for its beauty. She loved her travels later in life going on a few cruises, trip to Ireland and a safari in Africa in her late seventies.
Lousie had a fun loving personality, pulling pranks, making situations fun and humorous. She was loved by her friends. She greatly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Louise is survived by daughter, Judith (Judy) Ann Mitchell and husband Mark of Arlington, Texas; four grandchildren, Matt Mitchell and wife Mel and Monica Mitchell all of Arlington, Texas, Chris Mitchell and wife Jessie of Lubbock, Texas; Sarah McDougall and husband Jason of Arlington, Texas; seven great grandchildren, Lauren Mitchell, Hailey McDougall, Shyla Mitchell, Kaity Mitchell, Brooke McDougall, Carson Mitchell and Travis McDougall; brothers Hosea and Marvin of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Jerry of Moran, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Homer and Bertha Wallis; four brothers, Austin, Mitchell, Richard and Raymond; only sister, Nadine, whom Louise raised from age 9.
Visitation will be 1:30 pm Monday October 16, 2023 at Moore Funeral Home 1219 North Davis Dr. Arlington, Texas. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Moore Memorial Gardens.
