So many memories, so much fun. Drama class hijinks were the best.  Mike will forever be cemented in my heart and mind for the best, classiest, sassiest bet ever won. It culminated in a parent's night naked bike ride across a crowded quadrangle on campus. You sir, won the bet! I miss you more than you could ever imagine. 

My best and favorite times were Sunday evenings hanging out at the beach while listening to the Dr. Demento show. Peppered  with your added jokes, humor and punch lines, just the best.   

Michael and I lived down the street from each other in Garden Grove, Calif. We went to school together and Michael was always the one to go into character during our thespian years in high school. Although I lost track of him throughout the years, I was glad to follow him the last few years thru facebook. I wish you a great rest of your journey my friend. R.I.P.


He was a pillar of the North Texas Cosplay Community, and I know he’s missed by so many people. Thanks Michael for making a difference for so many people! 

Michael and I were roomates for several years in the early '80s
He was a big influence on my music and schlock video tastes.
We vacationed in Rosarito Mexico occasionally and dreamed of escaping to a land of 50 cent beers and living the life of Sun Kings.
Life intervenes and we lost track of each other over the years.
I was so happy to reunite with him via FB over the years to see that he was still moving forward and thriving in a tech environment

Michael made friends easily and had a large heart for everyone
Im glad to have to be in there with everyone else



Michael was a scholar and a gentleman, with whom I shared a love of cheesy movies and the Marx Brothers. 

I deeply regret that we never got the chance to cosplay Harpo and Groucho together, though we had planned to at All-Con 2020. Alas, the convention was shut down due to COVID-19 the day we were meant to do it, but he did at least get to see my costume and sign off on it before I unveiled it Friday night. Though the conventions and movie screenings will go on someday, it won't be the same without Michael. Still, someday, I'll try to keep the show going on, as Michael would have, and be the big brother the con community needs in his absence.

Thanks for everything Michael, and believing in me when I didn't believe in myself.
