Michael Dewayne Edgett, age 60, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Monday, July 28th, 2025 in Arlington, Texas surrounded by his family. Michael was born on December 9th, 1964, in Sherman, Texas to Jesse and Mary Edgett. He was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas and graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1982. He was a supervisor at Dart Container Corp where he worked for more than 35 years.
In his spare time Michael loved to fish, go to the casino, and spend time with those he loved. He will be remembered as honest and loyal and as a man of few words. He was intelligent and a man of all trades. Michael will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends who will cherish the fond memories shared with him.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Edgett. He is survived by his mother Mary Edgett; his brother Johnny Edgett and wife Tonya Edgett; best friend, Lisa Edgett; Elna Joe Gschwind; Thomas Johnson, and many nieces and nephews.
