Michael was born Jan. 15, 1956, in Evanston, Ill., to Ida and Maurice Heroux and was the middle child of five siblings. He grew up in Wilmette, Ill., and went to New Trier High School. Michael went on to graduate from Western Illinois University with a B.S. in engineering. On June 6, 1982, he married Pamela Magnuson. They soon moved to Stillwater, where they had two daughters, Lisa (1988) and Jessica (1989). Mike worked at Mercury Marine for seven years before getting a job with Lockheed Martin in October 1989 and moving his family down to Arlington. He worked there for 25 years as a program manager. He loved to cruise on his motorcycle, go fishing with his friends and read Tom Clancy novels, but most of all he loved talking and connecting with people. He was a good husband and father; family always came first. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and he always did it his way.
Survivors: His wife of 32 years, Pamela Heroux; daughters, Lisa Heroux and Jessica Heroux; son-in-law, Justin Barch; mother, Ida Heroux Melchiorre; sister, Charlotte Heroux; and brothers, John Heroux, Matthew Heroux and Roger Heroux.
