Dr. Michelle Renee Lindsay, 58, of Arlington, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2022 holding her sister’s hand. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on February 10, 1964. Michelle graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree; graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry with a DDS; and went on to successfully complete her pediatric dental residency at New York University.
Michelle devoted her life to serving children. In her almost 30-year career as a pediatric dentist, she lovingly and compassionately cared for countless children, especially including those less fortunate. Her calming and caring chair–side manner was renowned in the area and second to none. Of course, the two children to whom she was most devoted were her own two sons, Tyler and Caden. She was a fiercely-dedicated mother, and her proudest achievement was the raising of these two fine young men.
Michelle is survived by: her two sons, Tyler Blake and Caden Blake; her husband, Robert Blake Jr.; her sister and brother-in-law, Christy Lindsay and Mike Colvin; her nephew Nicolai Coffey; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nancy B. Harrison and David R. Lindsay.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Michelle‘s name to one of the following charities: Community Hospice of Texas, Dental Health Arlington, and River Legacy Park in Arlington.
A visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 a.m. A committal service will immediately follow at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, Texas.
