

Funeral: Services were held for Mrs. Moore in Fairhope, Ala., attended by family and friends. A memorial service in celebration of Mrs. Moore's life will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Afterwards, family and friends are invited to gather for fellowship time at the Holiday Inn Express, 2451 Randal Mills Road, Arlington.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, 1400 S. Cooper St., Arlington, Texas, where Mrs. Moore was a lifelong member.
Mrs. Moore was born Oct. 19, 1921, a native of Hamilton, Mo. She lived the twilight years of her life in Fairhope, Ala., near her eldest son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moore moved to Texas with her husband, Clinton C. Moore, following the end of World War II, where she spent the majority of her life, balancing the demands of caring for and raising a family while maintaining a 30-year career with the federal government.
Her loving husband of 50 years, Clinton Cleburne Moore of San Augustine, and her beloved daughter, Mary Margaret Moore, preceded Mrs. Moore in death.
Survivors: Her sons, Gerald L. Moore (Phyllis) of Fairhope, Ala., and David W. Moore (Elena) of San Antonio survive Mrs. Moore. Mrs. Moore was a loving grandmother to Elizabeth Moore Haynes of Fairhope, Ala., James C. Moore of Alabaster, Ala., Jeremy C. Moore of Hillsboro, Ore., and Amy Moore Thomas of Calera, Ala. She was the proud great-grandmother of six great-grandchildren
