Services for Oscar Harlen Moore, 43, of Staten Island, New York will be 9:30 am, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012. Pastors Bill Moore and Prince Moore will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd, Irving, Texas, where his mother is also laid to rest. He was know to his family and friends as Harlen. Harlen passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at his home in Staten Island. He was born December 13, 1969 in Johnsonville Monrovia Liberia, Africa to Fred Moore and Eveline Williams Moore. He atteneded the Lee's Union Mission school in Johnsonville.He was a mechanic and loved working on cars.Harlen loved children and lived for his neices and nephews. His hobbies were music and working on cars. Survivors include his father, six brothers and six sisters and numerous neices and nephews, family and friends.
