

Pamela Jean Coats 73, beloved daughter, sister and aunt passed away on March 7, 2022 in Arlington, Texas. Funeral service will be held at Moore Funeral Home Arlington, Texas on Sunday March 20th at 1:00pm.
She was born on February 20th 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert Eugene and Mary Alice Coats. She grew up in Dalworthington Gardens with a brother and two sisters. Pam graduated from Arlington High School in 1967 where she loved singing in the choir.
She worked for 12 years as a Nurse’s Aide then began working in telemarketing for 13 years. In 1994 she hired onto AISD Food Services while continuing with telemarketing. Pam retired in 2014 and began to care for her sister and mother until their passing. Pam loved working word search puzzles, watching vintage TV shows, and visiting with friends. She especially enjoyed her Thursday morning Alumni Breakfast Group. But most of all, Pam loved her nephews, nieces, and grand nieces and nephews! She never missed acknowledging their birthdays, Christmas, or other special occasions.
She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Robert Eugene Coats (2007), mother, Mary Alice Coats (2017), brother, Bob Coats (1997), and sister, Charlene Coats Anders (2015).
She is survived by sister, Francine Coats Squyers and husband Richard of Arlington; Nieces: Amy Coats Pryor and husband Andrew of Colleyville, Candiss Coats Smith and husband Levi of Grand Prairie; Nephews: Russell Squyers and wife, Kristin of Garland, Charlie Squyers and wife Jennifer of North Richland Hills, and Cody Anders of Paris, Texas; and many grand nieces, nephews, and cousins.
