

Mildred Patricia Eason, 83, passed away at 11:07 pm Tuesday evening, October 7, 2014, after fighting a valiant two and one-half year fight against the effects of a major stroke. Beloved by family and friends, Mrs. Eason was born September 7, 1931, in Ravenna, Texas, to Weldon and Mildred Doggett. Pat celebrated her life as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved reading, sports, watching mysteries, visiting her annual class reunions in Bonham, and caring for her family and precious pets. Survivors include son, Jackie and his wife Pat; and daughters Debbie Johnson and her husband James, Cheryl Griffith and her husband Jeff, and Tina Lane and her husband Steve; grandchildren: Christi Butler and her husband Kenneth, Hillary Mayrhofer and her husband Jared, Timothy Lane and his wife Stefania, Jamie Johnson, and Katy Griffith; great-grandchildren: Sydney and Brice Butler; and a soon-to-be born great-grandson through Tim and Stefania. Additionally, she is fondly remembered by many friends and Comfort-Keepers' caregivers who became family. She will be dearly remembered.
The service will be at 10:00 am. Monday morning, October 13, 2014 in Moore Funeral Home Chapel at 1219 North Davis in Arlington. The visitation will be held 2-4 pm Sunday afternoon, October 12, at the funeral home. Memorials: The family asks that any memorials be sent to one of her favorite organizations that she supported throughout her entire life; Wounded Warriors Project, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, ASPCA, or Professional Home Health and Hospice.
