On behalf of the Arlington 4th of July Association, I would like to extend our condolences to Paul’s family. For many years, Paul generously dedicated his time and expertise to coordinating radio communications for Arlington’s Independence Day Parade, and his contributions were greatly appreciated.

My heart is heavy with sadness at Paul’s passing, but I am grateful for all the years I had to look up to him—a man of true integrity and a loving heart. A brother to me, Paul was example of kindness and strength. I learned so much from him, and his wisdom, compassion, and faith helped shape who I am today. Now that Paul rests with the Lord, I find comfort knowing he will continue to watch over me. Though he is no longer physically here, his spirit and our memories will always live on in my heart. Thank you, Brother, for your love, guidance, and example. I miss you deeply and look forward to the day we meet again.

Paul was known for his unwavering commitment and his " get the job done" attitude, always stepping up when it mattered most. Working alongside him was a privilege, his positive attitude left a lasting impression on me and many others.  He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones during this difficult time.

This is such sad news.  Paul was my boss for a time and we worked together for several years.  He managed to keep things interesting, always joking around and kept me on my toes at all times.  We may have had a disagreement or two but, we managed to see each of our ways and made them work to meet a deadline.  He became a very good friend.  I will remember and cherish those years working with a great Team and he was a BIG part of it.   Prayers to his family and many friends.

I’m very sad to hear of Paul’s passing. He was an exceptional person. He always had a big smile and a positive attitude. Paul was very dedicated and resourceful, definitely a logistics expert. When the task was difficult he seemed to enjoy the challenge and somehow always get the job done.

Paul was truly unforgettable.  Very sad news.  My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I still can’t believe he’s gone.  Paul was a good friend to me and my young family.  We spent a lot of time together until we moved away from DFW in 1999.  Paul helped me maintain our radio club repeaters in Arlington and later in Mansfield.  He was always up for a run to El Chico for Mexican food.  Paul was a good man and volunteer. Paul and I worked together for several years. We had a great working relationship and we became good friends. If I needed something done, I would call Paul.  We played a lot of racket ball at the Euless recreation center. Great times. Great memories. Even though we lost contact after I retired, Paul always sent me a Christmas Card. He will be missed.

Paul was truly one of a kind. He was a master at logistics — if you needed something, he would find a way to make it happen, and the bigger the problem, the more energized he seemed to be by it. Seeing his obituary picture made me smile instantly; even after nearly 20 years, that familiar headset felt so perfectly “Paul.”

He didn’t just get things done; he brought laughter into the workplace. I still remember how he used to try to make my coworker Ellen laugh because she made “funny noises” when she did. One day he jumped out to surprise her — and surprise her he did! She squealed and threw her Big Gulp all over him. He laughed it off, of course, because that was Paul.

He was dedicated, funny, endlessly resourceful, and always fully “Paul” — whether he was solving problems, on the phone, enjoying ham radio, or indulging his love of guns and gadgets. He’ll always be remembered with warmth and a grin.

I worked on and off with Paul during my time at Sothwestern Bell Mobile. He was a dynamic man, exuberant, full of life, a brilliant logistics mind, very committed to his job, and loved his work. He was well respected by his peers, and I feel proud to have  known and worked with Paul. He will live on in my memories. My deepest condolences to the family for your loss.

Paul was full of life and laughter, always a head (and a foot) above everyone else in presence and spirit.  He worked hard, loved process, and never stopped trying to convince me that vests with way too many pockets were, in fact, a fashion statement.

We hadn’t seen each other in years, but the years we did share at Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems left a lasting imprint on my heart and mind.  Some people don’t need constant proximity to remain unforgettable, Paul was one of those people. 
His energy, kindness, and humor will always be remembered.

Paul and my husband, Dave Davis, had worked for years on the Arlington Fourth of July Parade communications. Paul was a vital part of making sure the parade went smoothly. Paul proposed naming the communications center after Dave passed the middle of June. That was a comforting gesture. Paul was a valuable friend.

I have been lucky to shoot several matches with Paul. He was a genuine nice individual. he will be missed.

My condolences to his family and friends.

I’ve known Paul for several years from our matches at the gun club. It was always a point to get on his squad. We had great banter, laughs and experiences. He always loved it when brought my model 29 S&W in 44 mag to a steel match. He would Dirty Harry it one handed and out shoot most people. He took a delight in making a smiley face with the six rounds on target. If you were a new shooter, a struggling shooter or just bad techniques he was great about offering tips and helpful advise
 
 Gone far too soon, he will be greatly mussed.

Rest in peace, my brother.  There aren't sufficient words to ease the pain of the loss we are all feeling.  We must give ourselves grace to allow for it to be spoken, and none to be silenced.  To let all grieve in their own way and confront the uncomfortable.  I have good memories of him, and I will carry them forward with me.  Until we meet again upon the "Field of Dreams."

A Dutiful Son.  A Loving Husband. A Patriot of these United States. An Intense and Dedicated Employee. A Great Friend and one of the most Intelligent Persons I've ever known.  Paul, You will be Missed!

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Paul Baumgardner . He was always eager to help and give advice when asked.  He was always helpful to other people. He will be missed at the Glock Matches by everybody. May the Lord give his family peace and comfort.

Paul was an outstanding man  and friend, with many interesting stories to tell. I met Paul many years ago at AT&T.  I am now retired after 30 years 11/2025. Thanks for the stories, friendship and knowledge Paul…. RIP Buddy…….

Paul left us too soon. He was a good friend. I met him at the Dallas Pistol Club and continued to compete with him in the Sanger matches. He will be missed.

So sorry for the loss Paul was an awesome guy. I’ve only known him a couple years we shot competitions at the Gun Range almost every Saturday. He will definitely be missed.

Paul was a great man and a wonderful friend.  Gone too soon.  I will miss him very much.
